Data Center Dynamics reported on 4 March 2026 that Core Scientific secured a 265-acre development site in Hunt County, Texas, outside Dallas that can support up to 285 MW of leasable capacity and 430 MW of gross capacity across multiple buildings, with energization possible in 2027 and full power by 2029 and an on-site substation planned. CEO Adam Sullivan said the company was scaling colocation into a 1.5 GW pipeline of leasable capacity. eExtra News reported on 10 March 2026 the same 265-acre, 285 MW campus and 430 MW gross figure, that energization is scheduled to begin in 2027 with full power by 2029, and that an exact location had not been disclosed though reporting pointed toward the Signal Ranch area. A 6 May 2026 eExtra town-hall report said Telios bought the property in 2023 for a solar farm, approached Core Scientific in late 2025, and that Core Scientific finalized the acquisition in late February 2026 and announced it on 4 March.
