Overview
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported ACS Group’s five-building campus near Saginaw Boulevard and Hicks Field Road in north Fort Worth, with city grading and economic-development agreements. Chron covered a $2.1 billion north Fort Worth ACS campus and employment commitments tied to the city agreement. Data Center Dynamics reported ACS filings for a five-building campus and substation in north Fort Worth near Hicks Field Road on a 107-acre site west of Interstate 35, north of Interstate 820, and east of Business 287, with addresses at 10059 Hicks Field Road, 10197 Hicks Field Road, and 9401 Wagley Robertson Road. DCD said the first phase is expected to go live by the end of 2031, with Phase II following in 2034, and that Oncor Electric plans a substation next to the project. ACS, owner of Turner Construction, requested city grants of up to 70 percent on ad valorem property taxes in exchange for a minimum investment of $240.8 million in the first phase by the end of 2031 and 28 full-time jobs at salaries of at least $150,000, then another $240.8 million and nine jobs by the end of 2034. An ACS spokesman told a Fort Worth City Council work session the campus would use a water-loop system.
