QTS lists its San Antonio 2 campus at 8535 Potranco Road, San Antonio, Texas 78251, on 32 acres with more than 90 megawatts of published critical capacity and a purpose-built standard design, about 20 minutes from San Antonio International Airport. The company also points readers to its Fort Worth and South Dallas Texas campuses. Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation project TABS2021007232 names QTS SAT2-DC1 at that address as a three-story, 338,721-square-foot hall at Ingram and Potranco that can support 45 megawatts of critical power with a 9-megawatt day-one build, start April 1, 2021, completion April 1, 2022, owner QTS Data Centers, project closed. Data Center Dynamics reported the existing Potranco campus as about 37 acres with one building offering 90 megawatts at full build-out, and a separate QTS filing to subdivide a 48-acre tract southwest of Highway 211 and Potranco Road, a different nearby plot north of Microsoft’s Lambda campus. The same report said Amazon had completed one San Antonio hall on Potranco Road among three planned city sites.
