Overview

EdgeConneX is building along FM 535 in Cedar Creek, Bastrop County. Community Impact reported the first of 19 planned buildings across three campuses nearing completion, with CoreWeave named as an early occupant, and Cedar Creek resident Maria Bowen living less than 2,000 feet from the site. At a March 26, 2026, YTexas panel, vice president of site development Evan Pierce called a second campus on nearly 180 acres at 6682 FM 535 the company’s global marquee project. The first campus sits at FM 535 and Wolf Lane: four buildings and 2.8 million square feet over five to eight years. Precinct 4 Commissioner David Glass said a December 2024 ten-year tax abatement replaced about $25,000 a year in raw-land tax with on the order of $60 million for Bastrop ISD in the first year plus millions for the county and emergency districts. The first hall is a $440 million, 578,000-square-foot two-story building that began construction in August and was scheduled for completion in June. Data Center Dynamics reported May 26, 2026, Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filings for EDCAUS11 and EDCAUS12, each 730,000 square feet and $700 million, with construction from June 2026 to December 2028 on Bastrop CAD parcel 22339 next to AUS02 at 8001 Wolf Lane. EdgeConneX materials cited about 240 megawatts at AUS02. Texas’s other mapped campuses already live in this directory include Stargate Milam.
