Rowan Temple Data Center | Bell County, TX

Rowan Digital Infrastructure broke ground on a 300-megawatt hyperscale campus on about 700 acres along Bob White Road in Temple, a minimum $700 million project with operations targeted for 2027 and power through Oncor. Temple City Council gave unanimous approval for 1707 and 2351 Bob White Road. CEO Charley Daitch said the new halls reuse utility and Rowan power infrastructure at the former Moriah Data Center at 2810 Bob White Road in Synergy Park, completed in 2023, vacated by its tenant in 2024, and being converted to a warehouse so the campus needs no new transmission or substation. Rowan was set up in 2021 by Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners and Birch Infrastructure; University Pension Plan Ontario is an investor, and Blackstone later took a significant minority stake. In July 2026 Rowan filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for AUS02 Building 2 at 1855 Bob White Road, a $780 million single-story 500,000-square-foot hall with construction from August 2026 to August 2027.
