Overview

Cipher Digital’s Stingray campus is a 100-megawatt data center on 250 acres in Andrews County, west of the city of Andrews, that the former bitcoin miner is financing with $810 million of senior secured notes due 2031. Data Center Dynamics said most of the proceeds fund remaining Stingray costs, about $63.6 million reimburses prior equity, and Cipher acquired the land in 2025 and expected first-half energization in its annual 10-K. The notes would be issued by Stingray Compute LLC, a wholly owned Cipher subsidiary, to qualified buyers under Rule 144A. Yahoo Finance reported Cipher’s SEC materials named Amazon Web Services as the Stingray tenant at 70 megawatts of critical IT load, the first public naming of the counterparty after a March announcement of a 15-year lease with an unnamed investment-grade hyperscaler and a syndicated revolving loan of up to $200 million arranged by Morgan Stanley. Cipher has separately pre-leased Barber Lake’s 168 megawatts of critical IT load to Fluidstack with Google credit support, and Black Pearl’s 300 megawatts of gross capacity to AWS on a 15-year lease Cipher put at about $5.5 billion of contracted revenue. Texas’s other mapped campuses already live in this directory include Meta El Paso.

The public map lists one map record, AWS Cipher Stingray - Building 1, 100 MW, planned. Reported campus capacity is 100 MW.
