Prominent Jarell Data Center | Williamson County, TX

Data Center Dynamics reported on 21 October 2025 that the Jarrell City Council on 14 October adopted three ordinances for a potential data-center development: annexing a 150-acre parcel at 3911 County Road 305, redesignating land use from Neighborhoods to Business Park, and rezoning from Agriculture to Light Industrial/Warehousing. Applicants are Prominent Property Group, Savannah Developers, and Power Infrastructure Partners; DCD said no end-user was named. An earlier DCD piece said residents at a 23 September council Q&A raised water, electric, location, and information concerns ahead of that 14 October vote, and that Prominent Property Group principal Dalton Little had said the facility would have 200 MW of power from natural gas and the grid. Savannah Developers’ Mesones Prime page lists a data-center-ready site in Jarrell on about 150.92 gross acres, planned for 200 MW with a path to about 264 MW, dual dark-fiber laterals, and a planned 200 MW combined-cycle gas plant, with Oncor Large Load Interconnect studies submitted.
