Overview

Vantage IN11 is Denver-based Vantage Data Centers’ planned Pittsboro campus in Hendricks County, Indiana. Data Center Dynamics reported that the Pittsboro Advisory Planning Commission voted 4–1 on February 25, 2025, to rezone the site to warehouse industrial, sending the case to Town Council. DCD, citing WishTV, said Vantage asked to rezone 618 acres between County Roads 500 East, 850 North, and 1000 North, with 285 acres used for data centers: a 256 MW hall plus 96 MW and 48 MW buildings, about 100 full-time jobs, and either air-to-air or air-cooled glycol cooling. Resident Donald Brophy told the meeting a billion-dollar data center was not right for a one-stoplight farming town.

The Indianapolis Business Journal reported that in April residents Mary and Thomas Rokusek, Jacy Robling, Keith and Dayna Yeager, Andrew Adams, Loren Hunt, and Donald Brophy sued Pittsboro, its council and plan commission, and Vantage in Hendricks Circuit Court. IBJ locates the campus on about 285 acres of a 626-acre Charles D. Smith Family Farm tract north of Interstate 74 and west of County Road 500 East. Plaintiffs allege insufficient notice of annexation and rezoning and no required traffic, environmental, hydrological, or utility studies, and ask the court to void the annexation and zoning and block permits. Pittsboro annexed the land late the prior year; in March the town council unanimously rezoned it from agricultural to industrial warehouse. Judge Kathryn Kuehn gave defendants until July 21 to answer.

Central Indiana campuses include Meta Lebanon, Sabey Indianapolis, and Google Monrovia.

The public map lists one map record, Vantage IN11, 256 MW, planned. Reported campus capacity is 256 MW.
