Overview

Aligned Data Centers’ IAD-02 is the second hall on the company’s 26-acre Ashburn campus at 21821 Uunet Drive in Loudoun County, Virginia, next to IAD-01 at 21890 Uunet Drive. Aligned’s Northern Virginia page lists IAD-01, IAD-02, and IAD-03 as Tier III halls with 24x7 access, a 100 percent uptime SLA, slab-on-grade and structured steel, Delta³ air cooling in dedicated galleries, closed-loop chilled water, and taps for liquid cooling on high-density GPU loads. Power design on the Virginia page includes 3 MW backup generators, 2 MW UPS line-ups, N+1 block redundancy, 500 kVA PDUs, and 415 V A+B distribution to racks, plus SOC 2 Type 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, HITECH, NIST 800-53, and ISO 27001 certifications. Aligned IAD01 is Loudoun County’s other Uunet Drive Aligned pin. Aligned IAD03 is the Sterling hall at 22715 Relocation Drive, a separate Aligned address from this Uunet Drive campus. datacenterHawk catalogs Aligned’s Ashburn Uunet campus as a purpose-built multi-carrier facility. This page is the operating IAD-02 building, not IAD-01 and not the Sterling IAD-03 hall. Aligned markets the Virginia halls as AI- and cloud-ready with mixed-density support, sales-and-use tax exemptions on equipment, and fiber density in Data Center Alley west of Dulles. IAD-02 shares the 26-acre Uunet Drive campus with IAD-01; IAD-03 is a separate Sterling address.
