CyrusOne DFW10 Data Center | Bosque County, TX

CyrusOne and Calpine announced on 30 July 2025 a 190 MW agreement to serve a new data center adjacent to the Thad Hill Energy Center in Bosque County, Texas, securing power, grid connection, and land for a facility then under construction and expected operational by the fourth quarter of 2026. The campus is named DFW10. The release said the first phase encompasses more than 190,000 square feet, that the project represents a $1.2 billion infrastructure investment, and that Calpine’s ERCOT fleet would be capable of delivering up to 400 MW to data centers in Bosque. CyrusOne COO John Hatem framed the campus for Intelliscale customers; State Representative Angelia Orr called the partnership a win for Bosque County. Data Center Dynamics reported on 9 March 2026 that CyrusOne had topped out the first building at the Bosque County campus in Whitney, between Dallas–Fort Worth and Waco, with 650 people and 450,000 man-hours on the job. DCD said CyrusOne first filed DFW10 in 2024 as a $750 million, 250,000-square-foot single-story hall, that DFW11 is an $400 million, 88,875-square-foot hall, that initial fit-out of the first two buildings is expected in October 2026 and August 2027, and that the campus developed with Calpine could total more than 400 MW at full build-out.
