Overview

Vantage Data Centers announced on 6 November 2025 a $2 billion investment for VA4, a 192 MW campus in the Fredericksburg region of Stafford County, its fourth Virginia park and a combined statewide 782 MW on about $8 billion of investment. Vantage’s campus page places VA4 at 225 Centreport Parkway: 82 acres, three two-story halls, 929,000 square feet, average 500 kW per row, first building operational late 2027 and further phases through 2028. Power is Dominion Energy through a private 270 MW on-site substation and 480 V distribution with N+1 electrical redundancy. Cooling is a closed-loop chilled-water plant plus liquid-to-liquid CDU equipment able to take 100 percent of IT load, with near-zero water-usage effectiveness. The Virginia Economic Development Partnership’s matching release said the campus creates 50 permanent jobs, is eligible for data-center sales-and-use tax exemptions, and is Vantage’s first Greater Fredericksburg project, with Governor Glenn Youngkin and Commerce Secretary Juan Pablo Segura quoted on the $2 billion Stafford investment. Vantage North America president Dana Adams said the region offers Data Center Alley access without the high-congestion core. Construction is expected to support 1,100 construction jobs. George Washington Village is Stafford County’s other mapped campus, Garrett Development’s 1,042-acre Hartwood rezoning, not this Centreport Parkway VA4 hall. The mapped Vantage VA41 pin is the Stafford VA4 building on this directory, not Vantage’s three Loudoun-area Virginia campuses.

The public map lists one map record, Vantage VA41, 83.2 MW, planned. Reported campus capacity is 83.2 MW.
