Overview
Data Center Dynamics reported on 25 August 2025 that King George County’s Board of Supervisors approved Oasis Digital Properties’ Dahlgren West campus near Fredericksburg. DCD, citing the Washington Business Journal, said the park spans 485 acres on the north side of James Madison Parkway, with 10 buildings totaling 6.8 million square feet and 1.2 GW of IT capacity. Oasis projected about 1,500 construction jobs, 50 to 60 full-time jobs per building, and $100 million to $120 million a year in county tax revenue. Co-founder Ross Likenhous said the site was chosen because it sits outside Northern Virginia. DCD noted a 2024 Potomac Development Group filing on a nearby 500-acre James Madison Parkway parcel, and that Oasis co-founder Nick Over had been a Potomac principal. Oasis also listed other Virginia work in Russell, Wise, and Greensville Counties. Northern Virginia Magazine covered the 485-acre approval near Fredericksburg. Virginia Business described Dahlgren West as an Oasis project outside the Loudoun core. Amazon Birchwood is King George County’s other mapped campus, the Amazon halls at the former Birchwood Power site, not this Oasis park.
The public map lists one map record, Oasis Dahlgren West Data Center, 1,200 MW, planned. Reported campus capacity is 1,200 MW.
