Overview

Vantage Data Centers is building its OH2 campus in Millersport, Fairfield County, Ohio, on land near State Routes 204 and 37 about 28 miles from Columbus. NBC4 reported a $2.1 billion state-confirmed investment creating 37 full-time jobs, with Fairfield County commissioners considering a development agreement among the county, Millersport, and Vantage and a 50 percent tax exemption for ten years on certain purchases. NBC4/AOL coverage said construction was underway on a campus of four data centers plus security and warehouse buildings on about 350 acres annexed from Walnut Township, that Vantage acquired the land through Lancaster Newark Road OH 21 LLC, and that Advanced Power planned an on-site Fairfield Energy Center natural-gas plant under lease from Vantage. Signal Ohio covered Ohio Power Siting Board hearings on that behind-the-meter plant beside Buckeye Lake and described the $2.1 billion OH2 facility on roughly 500 acres of former farmland. The public map lists OH21, OH22, and OH23 as three planned halls totaling 678.6 MW. Millersport sits on Buckeye Lake in northern Fairfield County. NBC4 said Gov. Mike DeWine’s office doubled an earlier $1 billion estimate to $2.1 billion when confirming Vantage as the Millersport developer. Signal Ohio reported the Advanced Power plant filing as a behind-the-meter gas project tied to the same OH2 campus.

The public map lists 3 map records. Reported campus capacity is 678.6 MW. All 3 buildings are planned.
