Overview

Amazon’s SBN761, SBN762, and SBN763 halls are part of the company’s expanding Hobart data-center footprint in Lake County, Indiana. Data Center Dynamics reported that AWS selected sites around 61st Avenue and Colorado Street in Hobart as part of a 2.4 GW Northern Indiana program, with NIPSCO supplying power and Mayor Josh Huddlestun saying Amazon would pay for the infrastructure needed by the development. The Hobart work followed AWS’s earlier commitment in St. Joseph County and extended the company’s Indiana buildout into the northwest part of the state. Amazon announced a further $15 billion investment for new Northern Indiana campuses, saying the program would create about 1,100 high-skilled jobs and support cloud computing and artificial-intelligence infrastructure. The company also described workforce training, education funding, and local construction spending tied to the investment. The public map lists SBN761, SBN762, and SBN763 as three planned halls. Reported campus capacity is 225 MW. Their pins sit together in the Hobart industrial area and form a later numbered group than the SBN757–759 halls already mapped nearby. The three-building table below preserves the map’s individual names, lifecycle, capacity, and coordinates. The reporting establishes Amazon as the operator, NIPSCO as the utility, and the larger capital program behind the numbered records; the map provides the precise three-hall census used on this page.

The public map lists 3 map records. Reported campus capacity is 225 MW. All 3 buildings are planned.
