Overview

Premier Data Center Development filed Project Arrowhead as a gigawatt-scale campus in Irwin County, Georgia. Data Center Dynamics reported on April 14, 2026 that a Development of Regional Impact application went to the Georgia Department of Community Affairs for a five-building campus spanning 4.22 million square feet on approximately 1,000 acres outside Mystic, with capacity that could total 1.25 GW. DCD said Georgia Power was completing an energy study, that the first phase could go live in 2030 and full build-out by 2034, and that up to $6 billion could be invested. Landowners listed in the coverage are Fletcher Marcus D Trust and Sirrom Farms LLC. DCD noted that part of the land had been earmarked for a separate Irwin Forward Tech Park of some 17 buildings, withdrawn by the applicant in March even after the planning commission recommended approval, and that Irwin County commissioners had passed a data-center ordinance on setbacks and noise. The Georgia Department of Community Affairs DRI form (DRI 4689) names the project Project Arrowhead, lists Irwin as the submitting local government, describes five properties for a data-center campus, and gives project size as 4,220,000 square feet on approximately 1,066 acres. The form names Premier Data Center Development, LLC of Statham as developer, with this phase in 2030 and the overall project in 2034.

South Georgia neighbors include QTS Blakely in Early County, Pine Ridge Technology Center in Twiggs County, and the canceled Bolingbroke Technology Campus outside Macon.
