Informational map and directory

The site provides informational map and directory tools for data-center and large-load land screening context. Large-load here means electricity demand in the data-center and similar industrial class, not ordinary commercial service.

The map, directory pages, articles, and screening copy are information. They are not a substitute for:

A pin, listing, or article is a starting point for diligence. It is not the diligence. Reported megawatts on a pin are reported figures, not a promise of deliverable power at a meter on a date.

No warranty on map accuracy

Map and directory data may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Sources change. Public figures can lag. Records can be merged, split, or removed. We do not warrant that any record is current, complete, or fit for a particular transaction.

Verified vs unverified. Listings and map pins may be labeled verified or unverified. Those are the two confirmation classes on the product. This wording aligns with the live map UI on /data-center-map and with /about. There is no third public class in these Terms.

Verified means more confirmation that a record belongs on the map as a documented project or building. It is not a guarantee of power delivery, interconnect, zoning, water, or a commercial operation date. It is not a warranty.

Unverified does not mean fake. It means less confirmation. An unverified lead can be early, thin, or still a research signal. Treat it as a starting point, not a closing binder.

The site, map, directory, and related content are provided as is and as available. Powered Lands does not warrant accuracy, non-infringement, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Not legal, engineering, financial, or investment advice

Nothing on the site is legal advice, engineering advice, financial advice, or investment advice.

Do not rely on the map, directory, articles, or screening copy for transaction decisions without independent diligence. That includes land purchase, option or lease, power agreements, interconnection, construction, financing, and investment.

Site Screen and related tools, if you use them, are still informational. They do not create an attorney-client, engineer-client, or advisor relationship.

Acceptable use

Use the site in a lawful, practical way.

Do not attempt to disrupt the service. Do not probe, overload, or interfere with the map or directory. Do not use the site for unlawful purposes. Do not scrape or harvest in a way that abuses the service or republishes the dataset wholesale without permission.

You may view and use pages for personal or internal business diligence. Automated collection that copies the dataset as a product is not that use.

Intellectual property

Site content, branding, and the compilation of map and directory records are owned by Powered Lands.

You have a limited license to view and use the site for personal or internal business diligence. You may not copy, scrape, or republish the dataset wholesale without permission. You may not present Powered Lands content as your own product.

Trademarks and names of third-party operators, utilities, and campuses on the map remain theirs.

Third-party links and sources

The site may link to third-party sites and may draw on third-party data sources. Those links and sources are not endorsements. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their material.

Powered Lands is not responsible for third-party content, uptime, or accuracy. If a source page changes or disappears, the map or directory record may lag.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable United States law, Powered Lands is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or similar damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost business, or business interruption, arising out of or related to the site, the map, the directory, or these Terms.

Because the site is informational and provided as is, you use it at your own risk. Some rules do not allow some of these limits. If those rules apply, some of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnity

If you misuse the site, scrape or republish the dataset wholesale without permission, or violate these Terms, you agree to be responsible for claims that result, and for reasonable costs of defending those claims, to the extent permitted by applicable United States law.

Governing law

These Terms are interpreted under applicable United States law. No specific state or county venue is named here.
