Overview

EdgeConneX ATL12 is the second planned hall of the Stonewall Tell Road hyperscale campus in Union City, Fulton County, Georgia. Data Center Dynamics reported EdgeConneX and TA Realty’s 324 MW Atlanta campus, with TA Digital Group handling power procurement, zoning, and entitlements, and an EdgeConneX affiliate closing nearly 63 acres for $318.5 million in early July 2024. EdgeConneX’s Atlanta data sheet groups ATL11 through ATL13 at 4810 Stonewall Tell Road for 202 MW N+1 at full campus, with densities of 20-plus kW per cabinet for cloud and 100-plus kW for AI, concurrently maintainable N+1 PDU, UPS, and generators. datacenterHawk describes ATL12 as a planned 700,500-square-foot purpose-built building with N+1 UPS, SOC 2, ISO, and HIPAA design targets, and an on-site substation planned. The first phase of the campus was scheduled to enter operation in 2026. DCD also restated EdgeConneX’s existing Donnelly Avenue pair as the 1.5 MW ATL01 hall of 29,530 square feet and the 4 MW ATL02 hall of 91,980 square feet with expansion to 9 MW, opened in 2018, so Union City is the hyperscale step-up from those two downtown-adjacent buildings. Fulton County siblings are EdgeConneX ATL11, already operating on the same tract, EdgeConneX ATL13, and QTS Atlanta-Metro DC3 on Jefferson and Herndon streets in Atlanta.
