Related Digital Cheyenne Expansion

Laramie County, WY

Project details

Capacity 392 MW reported. Status planned. City Cheyenne. County Laramie. State WY. Grid .

Overview

Related Digital has broken ground on a 115-acre data-center campus at Cheyenne Business Parkway, with CoreWeave leasing the first 88 MW as anchor tenant. Clayco is construction manager for the first phase, a 184,000-square-foot facility on an initial 36-acre parcel. The campus is designed to expand to as much as 302 MW of critical IT capacity.

Black Hills Energy serves the development, and the design uses air-cooled chillers. Clayco says Phase I will generate more than $250 million in tax revenue over fifteen years, employ more than 700 construction workers, and support about 40 permanent jobs. These figures describe the initial Related Digital and CoreWeave development and its stated expansion program.

The project shares the Cheyenne Business Parkway area with Microsoft’s Cheyenne footprint, but it is not a Microsoft facility. Microsoft CYS13 is a separate operating Microsoft hall in Laramie County. That distinction separates the Related Digital campus, its CoreWeave lease, and Clayco-managed first phase from the nearby Microsoft inventory. The public map uses two records and a 392 MW total for the Related Digital entry; the sourced development description instead supplies the 88 MW first commitment and expansion path, leaving the map total to the building census below.

The public map lists 2 map records. Reported campus capacity is 392 MW. All 2 buildings are planned.
