Overview

Prime Data Centers ORD01-01 is the first building in Prime’s development at 1600 East Higgins Road in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Clune Construction describes the full ORD-1 program as three buildings totaling approximately 1.03 million square feet and 275 MW when fully deployed. Those are project-wide figures rather than the mapped capacity of this individual entry.

Building A was designed as a three-story structure with about 258,074 square feet on day one and a planned extension of roughly 122,087 square feet, bringing it to approximately 380,141 square feet. Completion was targeted for the third quarter of 2023. The first 45 MW energization was expected about three months earlier, while the initial fit-out provided 9 MW of critical IT capacity on the third floor.
