Google Douglas County Data Center | Lithia Springs, GA

Google has operated a data center in Douglas County, Georgia, since the mid-2000s, with the Lithia Springs campus at 300 Riverside Parkway. Google’s Georgia locations page says the company began its Douglas County presence in 2003, opened the data center in 2007, and later expanded with a $300 million investment announced in 2015. The same page describes recycled industrial water for cooling starting in 2012 and more than $3 billion of Georgia investment since the Douglas County campus. Google also lists more than $66 million in Georgia philanthropic giving since 2005, more than 46,000 volunteer hours since 2010, and 2026 plans for new data centers in LaGrange and Columbia County. DataCenters.com lists the Lithia Springs facility at 300 Riverside Parkway. The Statesboro Herald, covering a 2026 wetlands grant, said Google first brought a data center to Douglas County in 2007 and that the county now has eight data centers fully online, with the Google campus using recycled wastewater. The Chattahoochee River forms the northern county line. Google’s Douglas County campus at Lithia Springs is the company’s long-running Atlanta-area site next to the Chattahoochee, and DC BLOX’s Atlanta West page cites it as the Google campus 2.5 miles from the new hyperscale tract.
