Overview

T5 Data Centers acquired 91 acres in Fairburn, Coweta County, for T5@ATL IV, a planned 300 MW campus. Announced on August 28, 2024, the property was already zoned for data-center use. T5 described it as the company’s fourth site in the Atlanta-area market and said the campus is scalable to 300 MW of power capacity.

The campus is designed for artificial-intelligence workloads and liquid cooling delivered to the rack. An on-site electrical substation was expected to become operational in 2026 and to supply redundant utility power. T5 chief executive Pete Marin presented the acquisition as an expansion of the company’s local platform for hyperscalers and large enterprises. Senior vice president of leasing David Horowitz said Atlanta has been a key market for T5 since the company’s start 17 years earlier and that the Fairburn site continues that growth.

The Fairburn location on this page remains in Coweta County. Project Sail is another planned Coweta County campus, but it is separate from T5@ATL IV.
