Overview

Red Wolf DCD Properties LLC’s DCD Kansas campus is a planned 600 MW hyperscale park west of Kansas Speedway in Wyandotte County, Kansas, on Parallel Parkway. Data Center Dynamics reported April 2025 plans for a six-building, 1.8-million-square-foot campus and two on-site substations on about 400 acres at 13000 Parallel Parkway, three halls north of the parkway and three south. Unified Government economic-development director Chelsee Chism told the Kansas City Business Journal each building was valued at about $2 billion, a $12 billion campus total, and Wyandotte Economic Development Council president Greg Kindle called it the largest single investment the county had seen, projecting a little more than $13 million a year in property tax from land then generating less than $50,000. The Beacon later described Project Red Wolf as 548 acres and 600 MW, 300 MW north and 300 MW south, with a resident lawsuit challenging the rezoning still pending. The Kansas City Star reported local officials had given initial rezoning approval for the $12 billion project before that suit, filed by Neal Palmer and Haskell Farms LLC, tied the process up. The Board of Public Utilities would have to serve a load larger than BPU’s entire current system. The public map lists the campus as one planned 600 MW record.
