Overview
Google’s West Memphis campus is the company’s first Arkansas data center, a $4 billion Crittenden County project through 2027 on former farmland south of Bollinger Road. Google’s October 2, 2025 announcement paired the campus with a $25 million Energy Impact Fund for Crittenden County and a collaboration with Entergy Arkansas on a 600 MW solar project and peak-hour load flexibility. Data Center Dynamics confirmed Google behind Project Pyramid after Groot LLC filings for a five-building campus on 1,178 acres, about 580 acres of it for the halls, south of a Coca-Cola bottling plant. The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported Groot paid $16.5 million in November 2024 for 1,117 acres from Bollinger Brothers, construction starting in October 2025 on the first of a possible five buildings in the city’s industrial park, and Google public-affairs manager Laurel Brown saying two buildings were confirmed with room to expand. West Memphis City Council approved industrial-development bonds of up to $60 billion over 30 years. Entergy is building Cypress Solar, a 600 MW Jefferson County solar field and 350 MW battery; Google is paying $526 million of that $1.6 billion plant. Service is slated to start in February 2027 and ramp to full contract demand by October 2029.
The public map lists 3 map records. Reported campus capacity is 352.5 MW. All 3 buildings are planned.
